Seasoned Executive To Lead Federal Practice for Proofpoint Systems - John Mullins to Head DC-based Unit

Washington, D.C., Jan 4, 2010 Proofpoint Systems today announced the appointment of John M. Mullins as Vice President for Performance Solutions and Business Development. He will be responsible for expanding the adoption of Proofpoint's groundbreaking performance technologies in the federal sector. Mr. Mullins was previously the Vice President for the Human Capital and Learning Solutions Practice at Sevatec. He brings to his new role more than 20 years experience in the federal government where he also served as the Human Capital Advisor to the President's Council on Integrity and Efficiency, and in other high-level staff and management positions with multiple departments including Interior, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, and Treasury. Mr. Mullins is also an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for Performance Excellence.
