The Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) announced a plan by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to open one of its regional patent offices in Silicon Valley.

This week the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Field Policy and Management (OFPM) completed super user training for the Proofpoint Systems project management application. This sets the stage for deployment of the system to all 80 field offices across the U.S.

This week The Links, Inc. began use of the Proofpoint Systems project management application. More than 12,000 members in 274 chapters are expected to have access to the Proofpoint application.

This week, subject matter experts (SME) and executives from eleven components of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) completed an assessment of air domain awareness (ADA) using the Proofpoint performance analysis system.
This assessment follows a similar analysis of the maritime domain (MDA) conducted by the Department of Defense (DoD) and more than 20 interagency partners, again using Proofpoint.
The results of the ADA assessment included a prioritized list of vulnerabilities and the solutions necessary to mitigate the gaps.
