Certified Performance Technologist
Consumers and customers are entitled to information that better enables them to discriminate effective from ineffective performance improvement practitioners, products, services, and practices.
Practitioners are entitled to a set of standards that better enables them to assess their ability, focus their professional development efforts, and recognize their capability.
Prior to the CPT designation, anyone could claim that he or she was a professional in performance improvement and training.

Gain Experience with E-courses
Take advantage of the 7-course training series. Each course provides instruction on industry-standard analysis methods and comes complete with a self-scoring quiz.
Upon completion, students are awarded the Advanced Performance Analyst (APA) certificate.
This program also supports certifications sponsored by the International Society for Performance Improvement. Attendees can gain up to 7 points toward their ISPI re-certification. The courses map to and support 6 of the 10 published criteria.

Gain Hands-on Experience with Proofpoint's ComPASS Training
This business simulation program focuses on the actual use of performance consulting practices and how ComPASS supports those efforts. Consists of two days of in-class simulation and a ½ day of follow up via WebEx and telephone.

Apply Proofpoint Products to Real World Problems
Using Proofpoint products and solutions working in the performance improvement field gives you invaluable hands-on experience, which will bolster any certification plan. This program directly aids in initial ISPI CPT certification. Complete:
- 2 performance improvement projects using ComPASS, or
- 8 QuickPASS projects
What's more, you may be eligible for up to 12 ISPI re-certification points.

Submit Your Projects for Approval
Submit your actual projects to Proofpoint, along with letters from your clients, for approval. All applications are evaluated by ISPI Certified Performance Technologists.
Upon project approval, candidates are awarded the Master Performance Analyst (APA) certificate.
Certification candidate must complete all coursework and ComPASS/QuickPASS projects within 18 months.
