Who is the Certifying body?
The International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) is the certifying body. ISPI is dedicated to improving individual, organizational and societal performance. Founded in 1962, ISPI is the leading international association dedicated to improving productivity and performance in the workplace. ISPI represents more than 10,000 international and chapter members throughout the United States, Canada and 40 other countries.
How might Certification benefit you?
A certification says you are a member of a profession. The Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) designation shows that you have demonstrated proficiency in the performance improvement profession. The CPT designation can help further your candidacy for jobs and contracting opportunities as prospective employers and clients come to understand that you have proven your proficiency in performance improvement. Once certified, your name will be listed on a registry that is available to potential clients and employers. The CPT designation is an indication that you have met the Standards of Performance Technology as evidenced by your past work and is neither an endorsement of you for future work nor a guarantee of future performance.
How will Certification help you with PASSTM?
A CPT designation is not required to use any PASSTM product. However, the foundation upon which PASSTM was built is closely aligned to the philosophy and performance improvement methodology of ISPI. If you are a Certified Performance Technologist, using PASSTM will be that much easier for you, and you will know how to use PASSTM to the greatest benefit of your organization. With a CPT designation and PASSTM, you have a winning combination of knowledge and cutting edge technology that can significantly impact your organization's bottom line.
How can PASSTM help me with Certification?
The PASSTM methodology for organizational performance analysis is closely aligned to ISPI’s systematic process for improving performance. When you’re done with a project, simply cut and paste your completed summaries into the ISPI application form for CPT designation. It’s that simple.
